An opportunity for a mid-level SAP Solutions Architect to join a high-profile, multi-million-pound SAP transformation programme. The organisation is moving from a bespoke AIX/Progress Back End and multiple Legacy ERP platforms into a single global SAP solution across 26 UK and European sites.
This is a greenfield SAP S/4HANA migration, transitioning from as-is Legacy platforms (including Sage, Oracle, and other ERPs) to a standardised SAP template and repeat model. The programme is already live in Ireland and is now rolling out across the UK and Europe, with further work to consolidate historic acquisitions.
Key Responsibilities- Act as a hands-on Solutions Architect on a large-scale SAP S/4HANA rollout
- Support the migration of 9-10 different ERP solutions into a single global SAP platform
- Work closely with Project Managers and site-based teams to:
- Understand existing processes (why and how things are done)
- Identify changes needed to align with the SAP global template
- Deliver a template-and-repeat rollout model across sites
- Substantial travel during rollout phases
- Regular travel to UK sites and occasional European travel (Ireland, Germany, Amsterdam)
- Office-based 5 days per week initially (first 6 months) due to onboarding and training
- UK driving licence required
- Solid, practical SAP knowledge with understanding of SAP terminology and architecture
- Experience working on ERP transformations or SAP implementations
- Background in Sage, Oracle, or other ERP platforms strongly beneficial
- ERP-to-SAP migration or integration experience desirable but not essential
- Comfortable working in greenfield environments and complex change programmes
- Able to engage confidently with site teams and stakeholders in a corporate environment
- Self-managing, adaptable, quick to learn, and flexible
- Experience in regulated or global environments (e.g. industrial, manufacturing, chemicals) advantageous but not essential
- £70,000 - £80,000 base salary
- Car allowance or company car (preferred)

- 25 days holiday + bank holidays
