About the Role
You will join a growing engineering community delivering user‑centred digital services across government, finance, utilities, healthcare and green energy. Key Responsibilities
- Implement user stories and contribute to backlog refinement

- Mentor others and help develop team capability
- Shape technical direction and ensure sustainable delivery outcomes
Skills and Experience
- Strong understanding of TDD and modern testing practices
- Solid knowledge of object‑oriented programming
- Experience delivering digital services in agile environments
- Comfortable with pairing, mobbing and XP‑style engineering
- T‑shaped approach with willingness to learn new technologies
- Consultancy or government experience is ideal, particularly at senior level
- Senior: strong breadth and depth, mentoring experience and ability to influence direction
Security Requirements
Most projects require SC clearance. We can only consider applicants who either hold SC or are eligible to obtain it.
Location and Working Model
The role is mostly remote. The company has offices nationally, with occasional UK‑wide client travel depending on the project, usually 1–2 times per month. All travel is fully expensed.
What’s on Offer
- High‑impact work across government and public services
- Strong engineering culture with XP, pairing and continuous learning
- B Corp values with genuine focus on people and purpose
- Pastoral support, coaching, mentoring and clear progression pathways
