Fibre Quality & Delivery Specialist – 3 months outside IR35
??Location: North of Scotland (covering East Coast & Edinburgh)
We are seeking a Fibre Quality & Delivery Specialist to support fibre network across the East Coast and Edinburgh. This contract role focuses on ensuring high standards of delivery, compliance, and technical support across all fibre-related works.
?? Responsibilities:
- Inspect fibre works for quality, scope, and budget compliance
- Support planners, delivery managers, and suppliers to meet SLAs
- Provide technical input on scopes, traffic management, and build issues
- Assist with service restoration and post-work assessments
- Conduct specialist tasks: OTDR testing, joint surveys, cable tracing, ODF audits
- Deliver training and support for new technologies and standards
?? Skills & Experience:
- Expert in telecom installation practices (civils, cable, splicing, testing)
- Strong knowledge of NRSWA and relevant codes of practice
- Familiar with HS&E legislation, monitoring, and reporting
- Excellent communicatorwritten and verbal
- PC literate with full UK driving licence

- NRSWA Supervisor/Operative accreditation
