About the Role

You’ll set the tone for the sector’s commercial approach, building and delivering the go‑to‑market plan while overseeing accounts, partnerships and large‑scale pursuits. Expect to lead a senior commercial team, guide complex bids and work closely with clients, partners and executive leadership to drive sector growth. The role offers hybrid working across the UK.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take accountability for commercial results, ensuring the sector hits revenue, order and growth targets
  • Shape and roll out the commercial strategy and go‑to‑market approach
  • Lead strategic accounts, deepen senior‑level engagement and unlock new opportunities
  • Oversee marketing activity, partner strategy, business development and pipeline generation
  • Direct complex pursuits, including win planning, deal design, pricing and commercial governance
  • Personally lead major, high‑value deals while supporting the team on priority bids
  • Build strong alliances with technology vendors and delivery partners
  • Coach, develop and lead the commercial team, setting clear expectations and standards
  • Maintain accurate commercial reporting, forecasting and governance
  • Work closely with delivery, propositions and executive teams to ensure alignment across the sector

Skills and Experience

  • Significant consulting or professional services experience across digital, technology or transformation
  • Strong market knowledge and a developed network across clients, partners and competitors
  • Proven experience running GTM teams and consistently delivering growth
  • Track record closing large, complex contracts (typically £10m+)
  • Expertise in complex pursuits: deal creation, shaping, commercial strategy and risk management
  • Experience defining and growing partner and alliance ecosystems
  • Confident managing senior stakeholders and engaging at board level
  • P&L ownership experience and strong commercial reporting skills
  • Excellent financial, legal and commercial judgement
  • A natural leader: decisive, collaborative and commercially astute
