Diesel Generator Engineer for a privately-owned power generation firm in the North East of the UK. You will cover events, construction and critical infrastructure sites requiring 24/7 active and standby diesel generator sets ranging from 14 kVA to 1.4 MW. Opportunity for progression within the Power Generation industry.

Day-to-day servicing, repair, load balancing, full overhauls, switch-gear and control management, and other related duties will be your responsibility.

Package: £28,000 basic salary (negotiable). Company vehicle for door-to-door travel for personal use, overtime available, and other standard benefits.

Qualifications:

  • Qualified Diesel Generator Engineer.
  • Extensive experience working on critical infrastructure sites.
  • Electrical and controls experience, including generator set load testing.
  • NVQ level 3 in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
