I have an opening for my client who is looking for an additional Refrigeration Engineer. The leading HVAC firm is currently recruiting for a Refrigeration Engineer to cover installation, servicing and repairs of all types and brands of fridges, freezers, and walk-in cold stores within London and the Home Counties area.

You will have previous experience working as a Refrigeration Engineer and will be able to demonstrate your abilities to the highest professional standard. The company in question has been established for over 20 years, prides itself on having an excellent sales record from word of mouth, has a field engineering team of 15 strong, and is seen as one of the leading specialists within the refrigeration and catering industry across the South East.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Refrigeration Engineer to join a well-established market leader supplying a service to the high-end commercial markets. This role reports directly to the Operations Manager and offers an attractive remuneration package and excellent career progression for the successful engineer.

  • Remuneration: £25,000-£35,000 PA Basic Salary (Dependent on skill level)
  • Paid Travel Door to Door
  • Overtime commensurate to £10,000 PA

The Ideal Candidate:

  • You will have 8 or more years total experience working in the refrigeration industry.
  • You will have relevant refrigeration experience in your current role, or a recent position.
  • You will have experience working as a Field Engineer within the last 3 years.
  • You will have industry relevant training listed on your CV (such as NVQ 2 Refrigeration and Air Conditioning, 17th Edition Qualifications).
  • You will have refrigeration industry manufacturer product training certificates listed on your CV.
  • You will have previous lengths of tenure greater than 4 years of service.
  • You will be customer focused and confident in your skills (and a confident communicator).
  • You will be happy to travel.

Essential Requirements:

  • You will have relevant experience working as a Refrigeration Engineer/Senior Engineer such that you could hit the ground running and not require any additional training to start work.
  • Qualified to both NVQ 2 in Refrigeration and hold a valid F-gas certificate.
  • You will have a valid driving license.
