About the role
This role is perfect for a driven self‑starter with strong informal leadership skills—someone who inspires those around them without needing a title to lead. As a dynamic, results‑oriented individual with a passion for sales, you will join our team in the UK and play a crucial role in driving growth. You will cultivate strong relationships with existing clients while identifying new business opportunities across large, high‑value accounts. As a Strategic Account Executive, you will be instrumental in expanding our business and securing long‑term success.
Responsibilities
- Manage the complete and complex sales cycles, often presenting to C‑level executives the value of boost.ai full suite of applications.
- Develop your own territory plan and a pipeline that will fuel the ongoing growth of your business enabling you to exceed your quarterly and annual sales quota.
- Identify and qualify new opportunities leveraging your own creativity, inbound lead flow, personal prospecting efforts, contacts, existing accounts, and partners.
- Evangelise the Boost.ai vision and complete value proposition through customer meetings, product demonstrations, in‑market events, and account‑specific initiatives.
- Work cross‑functionally with our sales development, marketing, product, and customer service teams to deliver outstanding results.
- Negotiate pricing and contractual terms as required to close the sale.
- Apply and live through a structured sale methodology such as MEDDIC/Value Selling or equivalent.
- Accurately forecast profitable and predictable territory performance and required resources through adherence to our sales process.
- Complete Boost.ai in‑depth onboarding and sales training to become an expert in boost.ai messaging, products and services, and unique sales approach.
- Own and drive the sales process when the lead from direct sales or partner becomes an opportunity through to a completed agreement. Our partners are consultancy firms, that provide sales and implementation support.
- Lead presentations, demonstrations and accelerated POCs to explain, demonstrate, and prove in‑depth what boost.ai’s platform can do and how to successfully deploy it.
- Maintain and build strong relationships with partners, providing support to them with their sales processes, when required.
- Significantly contribute to the tendering and bid processes.
- Work closely with both the marketing and development teams to ensure that technical, architectural, and competitive blockers are communicated and escalated to the appropriate channel.
- Provide clients with support and sales insight to build credible, compelling business cases.
- Expertly lead C‑level executive sales meetings.
- Ensure a full and comprehensive handover to the PS team or the appropriate partner delivery team member for them to fulfill their role as a key account manager.
- Due to our growing international client base, you must be able to travel for approximately 50+ days a year.
- Act as a trusted advisor and have a strong presence on social media.
- Collaborate with an assigned POD (vertical team with sales and customer success managers).
- Participate in industry conferences and trade‑shows.
Personal Skills, qualifications and expertise required
- A proven track record within B2B sales with at least 7‑10 years in an Enterprise role.
- A strong technical understanding and competent enough to answer any questions related to security, hosting options, privacy, and other technical and business impact assessments.
- Highly skilled relationship manager, able to demonstrate negotiation and organizational skills, with a proven track record of experience in managing complex selling processes and managing various customer and partner stakeholder relationships.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Educated to college or university degree level, preferably in a technical discipline, would be an advantage but is not a prerequisite for the role.
- A genuine interest in business development within tech.
- In order to succeed in our industry, you must have a genuine interest in business development within tech.
- Application solution sales experience managing complex sales cycles with demonstrated ownership of territory and account management.
- Managing and scaling accounts.
- Ability to align technology solutions to complex, multi‑stakeholder business problems and utilise strategic thinking skills to solve customer problems.
- Track record of consistent over‑achievement of quotas, and revenue goals and the ability to effectively identify and engage C‑level executives.
- Passion for building robust customer relationships and working cross‑functionally within a diverse team to deliver outstanding results.
- Technologically adept and business acumen focused with outstanding communication both written and oral, negotiation and presentation skills.
- Ability to work individually and on a collaborative team in a fast‑paced and continuously evolving environment.
- Maniacal focus on excellence in Pipeline Generation & Opportunity Progression, including meticulous planning and preparation.
