We currently have an exciting opportunity for a diligent Part I Architectural Assistant to join our RIBA Chartered practice in our Yeovil Studio on a year contract. As part of this role, you will get a chance to work on a variety of project types and scales.
Responsibilities:
- Contributing/providing support to the lead architect and project team.
- Producing concept visuals, planning drawings, Design and Assess Statements, attending public consultation events, and other helpful supporting tasks.
- Assisting with planning applications and building regulation submissions.
- Attending and helping with site appraisals, measured surveys, client meetings and site inspections.
- Being part of a cohesive team, helping encourage and support our colleagues, to grow and learn together.
Requirements:
- Have a passion for Architecture, be highly motivated, with good communication skills.
- Be proficient in managing your own workload to achieve tight deadlines.
- Have an eye for detail and the drive to produce a quality service in line with our clients' brief and expectations.
- Ideally have some UK office-based experience or be able to demonstrate similar transferable skills from other work experience.
- Experience in the use of AutoCAD and Revit (would be a bonus). 3D graphics and presentation skills preferred but training is available.
- Ideally with aspiration to work within the residential sector and have a passion for delivering sustainable homes.
- UK driving License.
