Now, we\’re launching a The Boomerang Training Academy to raise care standards both internally and externally — and we want you to be part of it.
The Role
As a Healthcare Lead Trainer, you\’ll design, deliver, and assess engaging training for new and experienced care staff. Your goal? Build confident, competent, and compliant professionals internally and externally.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver induction and refresher training (e.g. Moving & Handling, Medication, Infection Control)
- Support staff development aligned with the Care Certificate
- Design adhoc short courses
- Be prepared to attend \’train the trainer\’ courses to deliver new training and development
- Manage the Registered Training Centre with our awarding body
- Maintain accurate training records and monitor compliance
- Ensure all training meets CQC and regulatory standards
- Deliver in-house and external training (public and private sector)
- Collaborate with the care team to identify learning needs
About You
You\’re a self starter, with commercial acumen and are creative, passionate about care, and ready to lead by example locally, regionally, nationally and, in time, overseas.
Essential:
- Domiciliary/home care experience
- Level 3+ in Health & Social Care
- Recognised training qualification (PTLLS, AET or equivalent)
- Strong knowledge of care legislation
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Train-the-Trainer qualifications (e.g. Manual Handling, First Aid)
- Experience in coaching/training role

Pay: £28,500.00-£32,000.00 per year
