Boom Cymru, one of Wales’ leading television and digital media production companies, is seeking a

talented and passionate Social Media and Communications Manager to join our team. Based in

Cardiff, we create award-winning content across drama, entertainment, factual, and children\’s

programming for broadcasters and digital platforms across the UK and beyond.

About the Role

We are looking for a dynamic individual to lead our social media presence and manage our

communications strategy in English and Welsh. You will play a vital role in shaping the public face of

Boom Cymru, engaging audiences, promoting our diverse range of productions, and strengthening

our brand across multiple platforms.

Key Responsibilities

● Help manage and schedule posts across social platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, X, Facebook,

TikTok) to grow engagement and reach.

● Create engaging written, visual, and video content for different platforms.

● Support the development and delivery of digital campaigns for new TV and Social Media

projects and company announcements.

● Lead on the writing of press releases, newsletters, website updates, and internal

communications.

● Monitor social media and press coverage, preparing regular performance reports.

● Help support relationships with broadcasters.

● Stay informed on social media trends, platform updates, and industry developments.

Key Skills and Experience

● Fluent in Welsh and English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills in both

languages.

● Proven experience managing social media accounts and communications within a creative,

media, or entertainment environment.

● Strong copywriting, storytelling, and content creation skills.

● Experience of working with social media management and analytics tools.

● Ability to work under pressure, managing multiple projects and deadlines with strong attention

to detail.

● Creative flair, a passion for digital innovation, and an instinct for what makes content

engaging.

● A good understanding of brand management and audience development.
