BAR MANAGER
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Bar Manager to oversee the daily operations at Boom Battle Bar Bath.
The ideal candidate will be passionate about hospitality, customer service, and team leadership, ensuring the bar runs efficiently while maintaining high standards of service, cleanliness, and profitability. Although you are the main responsible for the bar, you are part of the full venue team. Working closely with the GM, duty managers and the marketing team. You need to have direction, ideas and bring inspiration to your team.
We would like someone with previous experience as a Bar Manager or Supervisor. Having strong leadership and team management skills as well as excellent communication and organisational skills. You will be responsible for managing staff, stock control, customer experience, and ensuring compliance with licensing and safety regulations.
Responsibilities
- Manage the day‑to‑day operations of the bar
- Lead, train, and supervise bar staff
- Always ensure excellent customer service
- Monitor and manage stock levels, ordering, and supplier relationships
- Maintain bar cleanliness and organisation
- Ensure compliance with licensing laws and health & safety regulations
- Develop drink menus, promotions, and seasonal offers
- Monitor bar performance and implement improvements
- Handle customer complaints professionallyWork closely with management and other departments to ensure smooth service
- Knowledge of stock control and ordering systems
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced hospitality environment
- Personal licence holder preferred (not essential)
