A career at Booksy means you’re part of a global team focused on helping people around the world feel great about themselves, every day. From empowering entrepreneurs to build successful businesses, to supporting their customers arrange “me time” moments, we’re in the business of helping people thrive and feel fantastic. Working in an ever-changing scale-up where things are messy and resources are limited isn't for everyone. If you thrive in a stable environment with big budgets, clear processes, and structures then, if being honest, we’re probably not for you. However, if you love bringing order to chaos, inventively solving problems, and prioritizing your own path within ambiguity, then you're likely to love it here.
The people you’ll like to work with and the projects you’ll enjoy impacting: As a MarTech Lead, reporting to the Head of Customer Data & Technology in our Data and Strategic Analytics team, your mission will be to own and evolve the technical foundation of Booksy’s marketing technology ecosystem - from acquisition through retention. Starting with Iterable as our core post-conversion engagement platform, you’ll act as the technical owner and primary administrator across our MarTech stack. This includes acquisition platforms such as Meta, Google, TikTok, CRM systems like Salesforce Sales Cloud, our Customer Data Platform (Segment), attribution tools, and third-party integrations. This is a hands-on, deeply technical role. You’ll design and maintain scalable system architectures, build and optimize API-based integrations, manage data schemas and mappings, and ensure clean, reliable data flows that power personalization, reporting, and customer journey orchestration. You’ll be the go-to technical partner for marketing, working closely with engineering, data, product, and growth teams to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions. As the function matures, you’ll define the MarTech roadmap and begin to mentor and lead a small team, starting with a MarTech Administrator, to scale capability and impact across the organization.
Requirements
- Strong experience owning and operating marketing technology platforms, including Meta and Google Ads, analytics tools (for example Google Analytics), engagement platforms like Iterable, CDPs such as Segment, and CRM systems like Salesforce.
- Strong technical expertise with APIs, data mapping, data structures, and SQL, with a proven track record of building and maintaining platform integrations.
- Experience integrating acquisition platforms, CRMs, CDPs, and MAPs into a cohesive, scalable MarTech ecosystem.
- Proven ability to translate marketing and business needs into technical requirements, and to clearly explain technical solutions to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience owning platform performance, monitoring health, troubleshooting issues, and continuously optimizing workflows and system reliability.
- Confidence acting as the internal escalation point for MarTech issues, change requests, and technical problem-solving.
- At a minimum, conversational English language skills.
It will also help you to have:
- Experience working with Salesforce Sales Cloud and/or Marketing Cloud.
- Familiarity with data governance, schema design, and best practices for data quality, integrity, and compliance.
- Previous leadership or mentoring experience, with the ambition to grow and manage a MarTech function.
- Experience partnering closely with product and engineering teams, influencing prioritization and delivery.
Benefits
- This is a fully remote position. We take pride in being a globally distributed team.
- A generous holiday allowance of 26 days plus public holidays.
- Access to a global learning and development program, wellness benefits, and discounts across partner platforms.
