About The Role
We are looking for a Senior Designer to join our growing design team at an exciting time. As Booksy evolves to become a design-led organisation, you will play a key role in shaping both the products we build and how we build them.
You will work as a solid individual contributor, taking ownership of complex product challenges from discovery through to delivery. You will collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and cross-functional partners to ship experiences that balance user needs with business strategy. This is a role for someone who thrives in ambiguity, moves with urgency, and is energised by the opportunity to establish design excellence whilst doing excellent design work.
What You Will Do
- Discovery and strategy
- Lead discovery work to deeply understand user and business problems
- Synthesise research, data, and insights into clear design opportunities
- Define and articulate design vision that aligns with product and business strategy
- Partner with product and engineering to shape roadmaps and prioritisation
- Design and delivery
- Own end-to-end design for significant features and experiences
- Create high-quality designs across the full spectrum - from early concepts to polished, production-ready work
- Prototype ideas to test hypotheses and validate solutions quickly
- Design and run experiments to inform decision-making and measure impact
- Work within and contribute to our design system
- Ship work iteratively, measuring impact and refining based on outcomes
- Collaborate effectively with engineers throughout implementation
- Influence and leadership
- Advocate for users and design quality in cross-functional discussions
- Present and defend design decisions to stakeholders at all levels
- Contribute to the evolution of our design practice, tools, and ways of working
- Help establish design as a strategic partner across the organisation

Requirements
- Experience and craft
- Product design experience, with a strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end work
- Exceptional craft skills across interaction, visual, and systems thinking
- Deep understanding of user-centred design principles and how to apply them in complex product contexts
- Experience working within design systems and contributing to their evolution
- Comfortable leveraging AI tools and emerging technologies to enhance design process and output
- Track record of shipping successful products in fast-paced environments
