As a Data Platform Engineer reporting to the Data Platform Engineering Manager in our Data & Analytics - Data Platform Engineering team, your purpose will be to build and maintain the foundational cloud infrastructure that powers data at Booksy. You’ll act as an enabler for our data engineering and analytics teams, prioritizing reliability, automation, and self-service. From developing GCP infrastructure using Terraform to optimizing CI/CD workflows and managing our Cloud Composer/Airflow scheduler, you will directly influence how safely and efficiently we scale our data ecosystem.
Requirements
- Foundational Platform Experience: 4+ years of hands-on experience in data platform, infrastructure, SRE, or backend/DevOps engineering.
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Solid skills building and maintaining Terraform modules (Terragrunt is a plus) on Google Cloud Platform or another major cloud vendor.
- Software & Orchestration Skills: Robust Python scripting abilities, strong SQL skills, and experience managing containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes/GKE).
- CI/CD Expertise: Practical experience designing and optimizing automated release pipelines using GitLab CI.
- English Fluency: At a minimum, we require professional English language skills (B2 level or higher).
