  • In this role, you will focus on driving the successful delivery of your team’s initiatives while ensuring high-quality software that meets both technical standards and customer expectations.
  • You’ll provide technical expertise and guidance, troubleshooting complex issues and influencing architectural decisions.
  • With a focus on continuous improvement, you’ll promote agile and engineering best practices to sustain operational excellence.
  • Collaborating closely with the Product Manager and stakeholders, you’ll align team deliverables with strategic business goals to maximise customer value and anticipate market trends.
  • Clear and effective communication with peers, leadership, and stakeholders will be key to maintaining alignment and transparency.
  • You’ll play an active role in recruitment, retention, and the professional growth of team members through constructive evaluations and development plans.

Recent experience as an Engineering Manager. Strong leadership skills to inspire and guide team members. Able to manage team dynamics, build relationships, and build a cohesive team environment. Strong software development proficiency in any leading technology, preferably Python. Understanding of software architecture and systems design, including the ability to contribute to architectural decisions and practical experience in microservice architecture. Proficient knowledge of agile and lean practices, including Scrum, Kanban, or other agile frameworks, and able to combine these methodologies with project management tools to enhance team performance. Ability to analyze metrics and use data-driven insights to guide decision-making and improve processes. Experience in working with a DevOps mindset, with practical experience in best practices like TDD, CI/CD, and Observability.
