Market Team Manager Role Overview: At Booking.com, we want to empower everyone to experience the world. Through our products, partners and people is how we do it. As a Market Team Manager - Seoul you will be responsible for managing a team of Account Executives and Managers while collaborating with the Area Manager to improve hotel availability and supply for the South Korea market. You will also build quantity and quality reports on results and performance for information support to Booking.com BV in order to meet the demands of the visitors on our website.

Key Job Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Leading and mentoring a team of employees to achieve both interpersonal and individual objectives
  • Responsible for internal and external recruitment activities in the team
  • Driving the development of individuals, using frameworks and tools to empower the team
  • Maintaining a positive relationship with the meaningful partners to achieve targets and growth
  • Maintaining ties with partners through accompanying team members on visits, events and industry conferences
  • Participate in various partner events with the objective to support business results
  • Being the market authority on the industry by understanding the spectrum of the competitors and the landscape of partners
  • Reviewing team targets' pace to ensure meeting business goals by guiding and mentoring the team in planning and prioritising
  • Being the authority on the operational side to drive efficiency and effectiveness
