Role Description: As a Learning & Development Operations Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in delivering a seamless, high-quality learning experience for our colleagues. As part of the People Operations - Talent team, you will be responsible for the operational delivery of our learning programmes, ensuring they are planned, coordinated, and executed efficiently from end to end.
Working closely with Learning & Development, People teams, business stakeholders, and external facilitators, you will coordinate instructor-led and virtual learning sessions, administer learning systems, maintain accurate learning data, and provide reporting and operational insights that support informed decision-making. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys creating structure, improving processes, and delivering operational excellence. You'll combine strong organisational skills with a data-driven mindset to optimise learning operations, enhance the learner experience, and help scale learning programmes that enable our people to grow and succeed.
Key Job Responsibilities and Duties:- Manage the end-to-end operational delivery of learning and development programmes, ensuring seamless planning, execution, and continuous improvement.
- Administer and maintain the Learning Management System (LMS), including course set up, learner enrolment, content management, user support, and data integrity.
- Produce and analyse learning metrics, dashboards, and reports to monitor programme performance, learner engagement, and business impact.
- Coordinate instructor-led and virtual learning sessions, managing scheduling, logistics, learner communications, attendance, and post-session administration.
- Partner with Learning & Development, People Operations, HR, Technology, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable, high-quality learning solutions while ensuring operational excellence.
- Work closely with the Global Onboarding team to ensure the coordination of the onboarding process for new starters to the business is effective and as seamless as possible.
- Identify opportunities to streamline processes, standardise workflows, and implement automation to improve operational efficiency and learner experience.
- Support the onboarding of external learning providers and facilitators by coordinating operational requirements, system access, and session setup.
- Support the implementation, testing, and optimisation of learning technologies, system enhancements, and new operational processes.
- Develop and maintain operational documentation, standard operating procedures, and knowledge resources to support consistency and scalability.
- Provide operational support for learning projects, change initiatives, and continuous improvement activities, ensuring timely delivery against agreed objectives.
- Act as the first point of contact for learning operations queries, resolving system and programme issues while delivering a high standard of support to learners, facilitators, and stakeholders.
- Experience in Learning & Development Operations, Talent Development, HR Operations, or a related People function, with hands-on experience supporting learning programmes and learning technologies.
