Job Responsibilities and Duties

  • Own the design and delivery of entire data‑science solutions based on business requirements, bringing them from initial idea to independent implementation.
  • Work autonomously on consuming and preparing data, translating business problems to data stories, and solving them with appropriate statistical analysis and modeling methods.
  • Operate primarily within the team scope to deliver work that informs product or business decisions, occasionally collaborating across multiple teams.
  • Design and interpret quantitative experiments to guide key business decisions.
  • Identify and manage stakeholders in operational, project‑based, and managerial roles; communicate findings clearly and guide junior colleagues in stakeholder engagement.
  • Adopt existing internal and external data‑science approaches, propose and spot opportunities to apply new methods, and expand technical competencies of self and peers.
  • Incorporate scalability, reproducibility, and long‑term orientation into work to maximize impact.
  • Act as a force multiplier by coaching, mentoring, and setting a strong example for junior peers.
  • Contribute to the community through projects that enhance data‑professional effectiveness and support community strengthening activities such as recruitment.

  • Collaborate with related crafts (e.g., Data Engineering) to anticipate data needs and ensure smooth project progress.

Role Qualifications and Requirements
