“This role is strategically pivotal for the Trips business unit as we build differentiating data capabilities to underpin our strategy and our customer offering,” says Morna McAulay, Director of Trips Data. “You will be a key catalyst in our ecosystem, orchestrating cross-functional teams to unlock the data that powers the connected trip experience for millions of global travellers.”
As a Group Data Product Manager within the Trips Business Unit, you will lead the data product strategy and delivery across our key travel verticals, including Flights, Cars, Rides, Attractions, and Insurance. Instead of building standalone software, you will champion “data as a product,” developing the foundational capabilities that enable teams across Booking.com to deliver cross vertical data products to underpin strategic priorities including Connected Trip and Marketing.
Navigating an ambiguous, multi-faceted ecosystem, you will apply systems thinking to align data governance and architecture with meaningful business outcomes. In this high-impact role, you will bridge the gap between technical and non-technical stakeholders to orchestrate the ultimate connected trip experience.
Create and drive the long-term Data Product vision, strategy, and roadmaps across Trips verticals to enable highly personalised and relevant customer experiences. Translate business strategies into specific objectives and KPIs, measuring the “data health” and success of your track while identifying opportunities for improvement.
Bridge the gap between engineering and business domains, advocating for the customer while justifying data architecture, technical solutions, and privacy compliance (e.g., GDPR, CCPA). Resolve dependencies across complex data workflows, orchestrating cross-functional delivery in a fast-moving, high-scale environment.
Lead, inspire, and grow a team of Senior Product Managers, fostering a strong data product community and coaching them to maximize their impact. Partner proactively with senior stakeholders up to the VP level, managing expectations and generating alignment across the wider Booking.com business.
