Please note, this role is hybrid, with 40% of your time spent in our office in Edinburgh. This role is a 12 month fixed term contract.
Role Description:
As an Account Executive, your main task will be to provide support to new & existing accommodation partners, contacting, informing & advising them about how to meet the demands of the visitors on the Booking.com website. You will also build the accommodations webpages & train the new accommodations on how to use Booking.com's extranet & how to use the systems that can improve their availability & supply.
Key Responsibilities & Duties:
- Pro-active communication with partners in your region by telephone to assist with the development of Booking.com's business;
- Leading a portfolio of partners where you are their primary point of contact, answering questions, & following up when needed;
- Help identifying new potential partner leads & pass these leads on for further follow up;
- Maintaining a stable relationship with our partners (i.e. frequent performance calls & contact);
- Become an expert in Booking.com's products so the benefits & usage of our platform can be explained in detail to our partners;
- Finding opportunities for partners that will help improve Booking.com's business by using its segmentation to prioritize;
- Receiving Customer Service issues related to the managed portfolio & solving these in the most efficient manner;
- Dealing with inbound calls & written requests from accommodation partners;
- Showcasing team spirit for team / office related projects & adhoc tasks based on company priorities & business needs.
Required profile:
- Excellent face-to-face and telephone communication skills;
- Proficient English speaker and writer;
- Affinity/experience within e-travel and/or hotel/travel industry is a plus;
- Pro-active, sense of responsibility and can work independently;
- Great teammate, motivated and enjoys to work in e-travel and hospitality;
- Currently authorized to work in the UK.
