We are currently seeking a talented Software Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be a creative problem solver, passionate about building high-quality software products and committed to pushing the boundaries of technology.
Chauntry Ltd is part of the Holiday Extras group. We are the leading omni-channel reservation solution for airports, car parks and more. Our Chauntry team are on a mission to build excellent partnerships with our customers, deliver exceptional service and help them increase their revenues by delivering features and functionality to enrich their pre-booking product that is used for parking, fast track, lounges, hotels and integrates with various third party systems.
Responsibilities:
- Work in a collaborative team with other developers, project managers, graphic designers, testers and stakeholders
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
Requirements:
- Professional software development experience in a commercial setting
- Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5, CSS3
- Strong proficiency in C#, .NET Framework, and .NET Core
- Experience with .NET web frameworks (MVC, Blazor, Razor)
- Extensive experience with SQL, preferably MySQL / MariaDB
- Good understanding of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks, including jQuery
- Familiarity with IIS and its configuration
- Experience of writing Front End code to be cross-browser, cross-device friendly
- Knowledge of Unit Testing (for example nUnit/xUnit), an advantage but not essential
