About

We are looking for a Lead Architect who can lead the review, development, and implementation of a cutting-edge AI-powered pricing solution. You will spearhead the creation of a new function focused on leveraging artificial intelligence and machine learning techniques to adopt dynamic pricing models that adapt to real-time conditions. This is a unique opportunity to own a high-impact product that sits at the heart of our commercial success across a growing portfolio. You will define the vision, build the team, and deliver a solution that leverages real-time data, predictive modelling, and machine learning to optimise pricing decisions at scale.

The Role

By joining our team you will:

  • Develop a comprehensive roadmap for a sophisticated, real-time pricing and forecasting solution
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders to align pricing models with business objectives
  • Review and implement advanced mathematical models, optimisation algorithms, and machine learning techniques to predict demand, optimise pricing, and maximise revenue
  • Leverage historical, geographic, economic, and market data to create a robust pricing strategy
  • Coordinate with the group architecture team to ensure AI solutions are robust, explainable, and compliant with data security and privacy regulations
  • Use AI to integrate real-time data feeds (competitor analysis, customer traffic, events, capacity) into pricing algorithms to dynamically adjust pricing
  • Develop key metrics to evaluate the impact of pricing strategies and identify areas for improvement
  • Stay ahead of emerging trends in AI and pricing, bringing innovation and cutting-edge thinking into everything we build

What you can bring to our team:

  • A strong academic background (Masters or PhD) in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Experience in pricing, AI, data science, or algorithm design, with a track record of building and deploying real-time pricing or recommendation systems
  • Deep technical knowledge of machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch), cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure), and big data tools (e.g., Spark, Hadoop)
  • Experience designing and/or implementing business-critical operational algorithms
  • Clear communication skills; experienced in communicating with senior stakeholders and translating complex technical solutions into business impact
  • Excellent problem-solving and project management skills
  • A strategic, commercially focused mindset with a passion for using data and AI to solve real-world problems at scale
  • Experience with data structure design and implementation
