As an IS Analyst for Workplace Security, you will play an essential role in delivering secure, stable, and efficient systems that support business performance, customer satisfaction, and cash profit. You’ll be responsible for implementing, maintaining, and improving security measures across Windows environments to protect against threats and vulnerabilities. This role includes ensuring devices are patched, secure, and compliant; monitoring and reporting on security issues; and responding swiftly to incidents with thorough root cause analysis.
You’ll collaborate closely with colleagues across IS, IT suppliers, Tesco Technology, and other stakeholders to drive continuous improvement and ensure seamless integration of security processes. You will be responsible for:
- Health, Safety and Legal (Governance, Security and Controls)
- Following change management procedures and maintaining system security.
- Complying with company policies including financial, health and safety, and security standards.
- Resolving technical and procedural issues following agreed processes, escalating where needed.
- Ensuring compliance with IT supplier contracts and licensing agreements.
- Championing diversity and inclusion so that everyone feels welcome and supported.
Customer Satisfaction:
- Identifying and addressing issues impacting system stability, availability, or functionality.
- Prioritising and resolving technical and procedural issues promptly.
- Specifying system enhancements, logging deficiencies, and supporting testing of delivered solutions.
- Helping produce accurate and timely management information.
- Providing end-user training and guidance when required.
- Working collaboratively with colleagues, customers, and suppliers to enhance service perception.
- Identifying opportunities to improve processes and maximise system asset utilisation.
- Supporting the delivery of system improvements and projects aligned with growth plans.
- Contributing to projects that enhance cash profit and customer satisfaction.
- Delivering approved projects on time and within agreed budgets.
Cash Profit:
- Working effectively with suppliers and stakeholders to identify optimal solutions.
- Following procedures for the efficient storage and reuse of IS equipment.

- Administration of asset management and security systems
- Management of project development budgets
- Monitoring system KPIs

- Supporting delivery of the asset management system roadmap
You will need:

Experience:
- Good understanding of Microsoft Defender for Endpoints, Ivanti UEM, Sophos, Microsoft Office Suite, and Windows OS.
- Knowledge of wholesale industry business processes (desirable).
- Technical project management skills.
- Service management experience.
- A track record of consistent results delivery.
