You’ll create clear, engaging and SEO-friendly content across category pages, campaigns, landing pages and supplier activity, making sure everything we publish is accurate, easy to find and useful for our customers.

Working closely with our Digital Merchandising Managers, Marketing teams and suppliers, you’ll help bring products, promotions and campaigns to life on the website while continually looking for ways to improve how customers find and engage with our content.

If you’re a strong copywriter with SEO experience, a great eye for detail and an interest in e Commerce, this is a great opportunity to develop your experience within a large and growing digital operation.

This role will be based at our Wellingborough Head Office, with the option to work from an alternative location, which can be discussed at interview.

  • Writing clear, engaging and SEO-friendly website copy across category pages, campaigns, landing pages and supplier activity.
  • Uploading, managing and maintaining content across the Booker website using our Content Management System (CMS).
  • Making sure published content is accurate, up to date, consistent and aligned with our brand.
  • Applying SEO best practice, including page titles, meta descriptions, keywords and website content, to support organic search performance.
  • Supporting supplier-funded campaigns by creating and publishing landing pages, banners and promotional messaging.
  • Creating content to showcase product ranges, promotions and seasonal activity.
  • Working with Digital Merchandising Managers to support category plans and commercial priorities across the website.
  • Helping customers find the right products more easily by improving category content, navigation, taxonomy and signposting.
  • Regularly reviewing website content and spotting opportunities to improve quality, consistency and the overall customer journey.
  • Strong copywriting skills, with experience creating engaging written content for websites or other digital platforms.
  • A good understanding of SEO and experience applying SEO principles to website content.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy when creating, checking and publishing content.
  • An understanding of e Commerce websites and how good content can improve the digital customer journey.
  • The ability to manage multiple pieces of work and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills and the confidence to work with teams across Digital, Marketing, Trading and our supplier network.
  • An interest in e Commerce, digital marketing and creating content that delivers a great customer experience.
  • Experience within B2B, wholesale or FMCG would be an advantage, but isn’t essential.
