Overview
We are currently recruiting for Warehouse Operatives to join us in our Wellingborough site.
Working in our distribution centres means fast paced environments, excellent attention to detail with the ability to think quickly and work as part of a team to ensure orders are picked accurately and on time with seamless delivery to our customers.
This role is working any 5 days from 7.
Prior to employment, you must successfully complete a drug and alcohol test
Responsibilities
- Picking and packing customers orders, using a hand held terminal to understand pick expectation
- Receiving, storing and stacking appropriately
- Working with the best integrity to fulfil all stock requirements and needs
- Maintaining a clean and safe environment with health, safety, and legal compliance top of mind
- We have LLOP’s and FLT’s in operation on our sites, and successful individuals will be trained on these in certain areas of the DCs
- Distribution centres typically have ambient, chilled and freezer sections; preferences will be discussed within the process in more detail
- Being flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced environment is essential
- Hardworking, able to work to set deadlines, and have a professional, positive, organised, and enthusiastic approach
- While proven experience in a warehouse environment would be preferred, it is not essential
- You should be able to work as part of a team and on your own initiative; self-motivation is key
