Overview

We are currently recruiting for Warehouse Operatives to join us in our South Elmsall RDC site.

Working in our distribution centres means fast paced environments, excellent attention to detail with the ability to think quickly and work as part of a team to ensure orders are picked accurately and on time with seamless delivery to our customers.

Shifts

We have 2 available shifts on offer:

  • 1. Monday to Friday, 2pm to 10pm (5 days x 8 hours)
  • 2. Sunday, Monday, Thursday, Friday, 12pm to 8pm (4 days x 10 hours)

Prior to employment, you must successfully complete a drug and alcohol test.

Responsibilities

  • Picking and packing customer orders, using a handheld terminal to understand pick expectations.
  • Receiving, storing and stacking items appropriately.
  • Working with integrity to fulfil all stock requirements and needs.
  • Maintaining a clean and safe environment with health, safety, and legal considerations always top of mind.
  • Training opportunities on LLOPs and FLTs may be provided in certain areas of the DCs.
  • Working in distribution centres that may include ambient, chilled and freezer sections; preferences will be discussed in detail within the process.
  • Being flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced environment is essential.
  • Ability to work to set deadlines with a professional, positive, organised and enthusiastic approach.
  • Teamwork and the ability to work on your own initiative; self-motivation is valued.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • You MUST be Reach Truck trained with a D2 licence or have experience using a reach truck above 8m.
  • Experience in a warehouse environment is preferred but not essential.
  • All candidates must be able to work as part of a team and on their own initiative.
  • You must be over 18 for roles that require working before 6:15 am or after 9:45 pm and in areas such as the warehouse, beers, wines & spirits, and driving roles.
  • Successful applicants will be offered the opportunity to train on LLOP and FLT in suitable areas.
