About the role: The Warehouse Team Manager will support the site management team in the efficient and cost effective management of the warehouse operations. This is a Night Team manager role working 10pm to 6 am 5 days out of 7.
You will be responsible for ensuring that the receiving, storing, picking and dispatch of goods is done in the correct manner to agreed productivity levels and within budgetary constraints, whilst maintaining a safe working environment through effective team management.
You will need: To be successful in this role you'll have working knowledge of the Warehouse function within the FMCG distribution industry as well as working knowledge of the business and operational aspects of supervising a depot Warehouse operation. General knowledge of the Transport function would be an advantage alongside warehouse operating systems such as Exceed or Locator. Your computer skills will be important too as you will be using the MS Office suite on a daily basis for reporting and formal disciplinary processes.
