About the role
We operate the UK's ONLY flexible multi-temp, shared customer delivery logistics network.
We buy, warehouse, pick and distribute products to the nation's best loved food and drink brands every single day and provide the best experience to our customers.
As a Planning Administrator, you'll play a key role in supporting our logistics operation, ensuring accurate planning data, assisting with new customer openings, responding to driver queries, and providing vital administrative support to the Planning team.
- You will be responsible for
- Controlling the flow of information between the Planning team and the National Account Management team
- Manage New Customer openings (NSOs) from a route planning perspective
- Supporting the driver Route Request process' by taking in, responding to and reporting on driver queries
- Assisting with the capture & maintenance of key data used in the route planning process; extracted from different systems
- Administration of Delivery Point Risk Assessments for our Customer delivery locations
- Administer the Customer locations and related data on Microlise
- Extracting & storage of data from various planning systems
- Liaise as required with various internal departments
- Provide support to the Planning Team in their day to day activities including phone cover
- You will need
Essential
- Evidence of providing administrative support to internal contacts
- Evidence of having previously worked in a fast moving transport or logistics environment
- Result orientated with an excellent attention to detail
- Excellent computer literacy with strong communication skills both verbal & written
- Strong MS Excel & MS Word skills, must be able to demonstrate or talk confidently about skills here
- Enthusiastic & highly self-motivated
