The predicted salary is between 13 - 16 £ per hour.
Working within the depot reporting to the Operations Managers and Health & Safety Advisor, the Warehouse Trainer will ensure that all training—including working processes, manual handling, MHE training—is delivered to the required standard and training records are maintained for all Colleagues. The Warehouse Trainer is responsible for delivering professional training and development whilst supporting Managers and Colleagues in the daily performance of their duties. During peak times you may be required to work within the warehouse and carry out other tasks to support business needs. The role may involve occasional travel to deliver training to other areas of the business and for personal development, including training and meetings.
Working Hours and Compensation
2pm to 10pm – five out of seven days. Extra responsibility premium will be added on top of hourly wage whilst training.
Responsibilities
- Support the implementation of all relevant Health and Safety policies and changes to policies and safe practices.
- Regular monitoring and assessment of Warehouse colleagues within the workplace.
- Deliver training and support managers and colleagues on all warehouse tasks and processes to the required standard.
- Updating of Training Files.
- Safety Week support.
- Supporting weekly audits.
- Support Hazard and Near Miss Card Reports and Accident Investigations.
- During peak times, support business needs within the warehouse.
- Occasional travel to deliver training to other areas of the business.
Qualifications
- MHE Training Qualification or working towards one.
- Ability to use Excel, PowerPoint and Word documents.
- Good presentation skills to groups and individuals.
- Working knowledge of MHE and other relevant legislation.
- A good knowledge of Health and Safety legislation.
- A passionate and professional approach to health, safety and training, displaying credibility and presence within the warehouse.
- A good technical understanding of all MHE/Warehouse SOPs; counterbalance, reach truck, LLOP, PPT, Pump Truck and Battering changing processes etc.
- Warehouse operational knowledge and good understanding of operational requirements in busy periods.
- A good attention to detail and accuracy with an ability to work on your own initiative.
- Good communication at all levels and organisational skills.
