Role Summary
Join our Transport Team at our Booker Retail Partner site. Responsible for the safe delivery of stock to independent retailer stores, including handball and manual work. Work may involve outside conditions and manual handling.
Responsibilities
- Deliver stock to independent retailer stores safely.
- Perform handballing and manual handling of products.
- Operate deliveries using a Class 2 vehicle.
- Adhere to safety and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain accurate delivery records and reports.
Qualifications
- Valid Class 2 Licence.
- Driver CPC qualification.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Experience with multi-drop deliveries; temperature-controlled food deliveries preferred but not essential.
- Flexibility to work varied routes and hours, including short notice.
- Availability to work 48 hours a week (overtime available).
Shift Pattern
Rotating shift pattern – Monday to Friday and Tuesday to Saturday, 5 days × 9.6 hours = 48 hours. Start times: 10:00 – 13:00.
