The predicted salary is between 11 - 16 £ per hour.
We are currently recruiting for Warehouse Operatives to join us in our Magor site. Working in our distribution centres means fast-paced environments, excellent attention to detail with the ability to think quickly and work as part of a team to ensure orders are picked accurately and on time with seamless delivery to our customers. This role is working any 5 days from 7. Prior to employment, you must successfully complete a drug and alcohol test.
Responsibilities
- Picking and packing customer orders, using a hand-held terminal to understand pick expectation.
- Receiving, storing and stacking appropriately.
- Working with the best integrity to fulfil all stock requirements and needs.
- Maintaining a clean and safe environment with health, safety and legal considerations always top of mind.
- We have LLOP’s and FLT’s in operation on our sites, and successful individuals will be given the opportunity to be trained on these in certain areas of the DCs.
- Our distribution centres typically have ambient, chilled and freezer sections; preferences will be discussed within the process in more detail.
You will need
- As a warehouse operative, be flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
- You should be hardworking, able to work to set deadlines, and have a professional, positive, organised, and enthusiastic approach.
- While proven experience in a warehouse environment would be preferred, it is not essential.
- You should be able to work as part of a team and on your own initiative. Remember, the key to success is being self-motivated.
