We're recruiting for Class 2 drivers to join our Transport Team at our Booker Retail Partner site. In this position, you will be responsible for the safe delivery of stock to our independent retailers stores. Our Class 2 jobs do require handball and manual work which can be physically demanding. This includes working outside in adverse weather conditions and handballing product at some of the delivery points.
You will be responsible for:
- Air conditioned vehicles.
- 30 minute paid break.
- We will keep your CPC updated with training provided.
- More to be discussed upon application.
Our drivers are a vital part of our business. You'll drive your vehicle to our Retailers' stores and deliver caged goods to them. You may also be taking backhauls to the depot on your return. This is a manual role so we do need you to be physically able to move cages and lift goods.
We're looking for experienced Class 2 drivers based in our Booker Retail Partners site. Working rotating shift patterns Mon - Fri / Tue - Sat. 45 hours per week.
You will need:
- Class 2 Licence Holder.
- Driver CPC Holder.
- Ability to deliver excellent customer service.
- Experience of multi-drop; temperature controlled food deliveries preferred, but not essential.
- Available to work 45 hours a week (overtime available).
- Routes vary daily and therefore successful applicants will need to be flexible in work and hours of work (including at short notice).
