About the role
We have a fantastic opportunity to join our Distribution Centre in Haydock as an HGV driver. This NEW opportunity will involve both single drop deliveries and multi-drop deliveries, using Class 1 and Class 2 vehicles. Cage work will be involved in this role.
- 45 hours per week over 4 or 5 days.
- Class 1 and Class 2 driving will be involved.
- Start times between 04:00 – 07:00 and 12:00 – 13:00.
- Saturday working will be part of the shift pattern, discussed at interview (Weekend Premium applied).
You will be responsible for
The safe delivery of stock to our 198 cash and carry stores.
Ensuring all paperwork is completed after delivery.
That your vehicle is in good condition at the start and finish of your shift.
Working autonomously as well as part of the wider transport team.
You will need
You must hold a valid C+E licence with experienced preferred driving a Class 1 vehicle.
You must have multi-drop experience.
All applicants must be CPC qualified to be considered for this role.
Applicants will not be considered if they have more than 6 points on their licence, ‘Careless Driving’, prosecution for mobile phone use or drink driving or have failed to comply with ‘Construction of Use’.
