  • To support the site Warehouse Operations Manager in the efficient and cost effective management of all warehouse operations at the RSC
  • Support the Site Management team in the efficient and cost effective management of the warehouse operations.
  • Ensuring the smooth running of the daily Warehouse operation, enabling the required level of service to be provided to the customer at all times.
  • Ensuring the receiving, storing, picking and dispatch of goods in the correct manner to agreed productivity levels and within budgetary constraints, whilst maintaining a safe working environment through effective team management.

The management of warehouse operations during their shift on a daily, period and annual basis and to ensure that the warehouse team meets their output targets through the effective management of warehouse operatives.

Contribute to and support plans to improve quality of operations.

Supervision of all warehouse operations on a daily, period and annual basis.

Ensuring that all internal systems used within the department are adhered to and assist in the development of these.

Management of ensuring legal compliance and in particular working hours and health and safety.

Participates in operational planning.

Management of budgetary control.

To provide essential cover in the absence of the Operations Manager.

Prioritise customer service.

Manage MHE breakdowns whilst ensuring that the impact to the retailer is kept to a minimum.

Ensuring that the warehouse department is optimised to deliver efficient customer service.
