About the role

To support the day to day functions of the lead Trainers and the Health and Safety coordinator.

Must be adaptable at times to suit the needs of the business and may be required to fulfil other reasonable tasks

  • You will be responsible for
  • Filing and administration.
  • Updating and maintenance of the training matrix and records
  • Updating of analytic reports
  • Support the Accident and investigation administration process
  • Maintenance of the accident database
  • Maintaining the contractor RAMs database.
  • Supporting Health, Safety and Compliance processes
  • Supporting the training process for transport/ warehouse
  • Supporting with the control and monitoring of contractors
  • Supporting with H&S active monitoring with both internal and external auditing processes.
  • You will need
  • PC Literate (excel/ word)
  • Team Player
  • Confident telephone manner
  • Able to work on own initiative
  • Ability to work effectively in a busy and constantly changing environment
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Good Time management and organisational skills
  • Good attention to detail
  • GSCE Maths and English grade C or above or equivalent.
  • Administrative experience
  • Previous experience of dealing with invoices/ accident reports would be an advantage
  • Flexibility to work additional hours when required
  • May be required to work late to meet deadlines/hit targets

Role is likely to change/expand over time due to the changing nature of the works covered by this team
