Reporting to : Head of Marketing

As Head of Marketing – Retail, you’ll play a key role in shaping how Booker connects with its retail partners and their customers. This is a strategic leadership position where you’ll guide the development and delivery of our Retail Marketing plan, ensuring campaigns are aligned with business priorities and deliver real value.

You’ll lead a talented team to create effective, customer-focused marketing across seasonal events, brand development, and in-store experiences. You’ll also oversee our Added Value Services programme—securing exclusive deals that help retailers “Make More” and “Save More,” strengthening the appeal of Booker’s symbol brands.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working collaboratively, has a strong commercial mindset, and is passionate about delivering marketing that makes a difference. Retail & Brand Marketing

Developing and delivering seasonal and event campaigns

Ensuring all leaflets and POS align with promotional programmes

Writing and owning the annual Retail Marketing strategy

Managing the customer journey and brand guidelines

Supporting trade shows and delivering in-store POS

Trade Marketing

Leading NPD launch campaigns and trading packs

Driving the WAFB programme with strong product and price messaging

Creating range brochures, pre-sells, catalogues, and recruitment collateral

Added Value Services

Identifying and negotiating exclusive deals for symbol retailers

Delivering supplier marketing obligations

Driving AVS offers in line with long-term plans

Budget & Project Management

Building and managing the Retail Marketing budget

Delivering campaigns efficiently with strong ROI

Leading cross-functional projects from concept to delivery

Team Leadership

Inspiring and developing a high-performing marketing team

Setting clear objectives and providing ongoing feedback
