About the role

This role operates rotating shifts between the hours of 0600hrs - 22.00hrs. Transport Operations Clerks are responsible for the administration of the Transport department, including operational activity and support of the warehouse administration as required. Your duties will vary depending on what’s required on the day, so being flexible is an important skill to have. This is a 5 days out of 7 role involving some weekend work. The shifts alternate from 6am to 2pm and 2pm to 10pm on a 5‑week rota basis.

Responsibilities

  • Giving drivers their paperwork
  • Supporting route departures
  • Gathering Tachograph reports
  • Debriefing drivers
  • Being supportive with any challenges that arise

Qualifications

Experience with HGV drivers or within a similar transport role would be ideal; however, we will consider transferable skills.
