An opportunity has arisen at Booker Park School for a School Cleaner to join our team, taking pride in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our learners by keeping cleanliness to a high standard and undertaking necessary procedures to assist with day-to-day maintenance. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who takes pride in maintaining a clean, safe and welcoming environment. You will play a vital role in ensuring our school remains clean, hygienic and well presented.
Duties will include:
- Cleaning classrooms, offices, corridors, toilets and other school facilities, using a range of cleaning equipment and materials.
- Carrying out daily cleaning duties including sweeping, hoovering, mopping, dusting, and emptying bins across areas of the school.
- Undertaking specialist cleaning tasks in designated areas at specific times of the year (e.g. deep cleaning during holidays).
- Ensuring cleaning supplies are used efficiently and reporting any maintenance or health & safety issues.
Job requirements:
- Previous cleaning experience.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good attention to detail and a commitment to high standards of hygiene.
- Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy.
