About the role
- Overtime opportunities also available.
- This role provides an opportunity as a permanent member of the delivery team.
- Van driver with a mix of duties: picking for the delivery team, supporting the delivered operation in achieving first class customer service.
- Responsible for accurate picking and dispatch of goods by picking against a handheld terminal and advising Manager of any differences.
- Checking quality, shelf life and ensuring packaging is robust in preparation for delivery.
- Providing a high standard of customer service by processing deliveries efficiently and to target.
- Being polite when dealing with delivery staff and responding appropriately to queries and complaints, referring complex situations to a supervisor.
- Loading stock into the vehicle at the branch and unloading at the customer premises.
- Ensuring all paperwork is completed accurately.
