About the role:
Join our Distribution Centre as a Class 1 Driver. Our regional distribution centres supply our 198 cash and carry sites with all their products including Fresh, Frozen and Ambient stock. Overtime opportunities are also available. Fully funded CPC training hours are provided.
Responsibilities:
- Safely deliver stock to our 198 cash and carry stores.
- Ensure all paperwork is completed after delivery.
- Ensure your vehicle is in good condition at the start and finish of each shift.
- Work autonomously as well as part of the wider transport team.
Qualifications:
- Valid C+E licence. Experience driving a class 1 vehicle is preferred but not essential.
- All applicants must be CPC qualified.
- Applicants will not be considered if they have more than 6 points on their licence, 'Careless Driving' records, prosecutions for mobile phone use or drink driving, or have failed to comply with 'Construction of Use'.
Eligibility:
Only applicants over the age of 18 will be considered for roles requiring work before 6:15am or after 9:45pm, or involving driving roles or work in warehouses, beer, wine, spirits or related areas.
