We are looking for a Part Time Retail Support Assistant, this role is Monday – Friday. In this role, you will support the Retail Support Manager in delivering an effective communication service to our Scoot Team and wider customer base. The role supports retailers, internal teams and suppliers by ensuring accurate promotion setup, timely credit processing, and robust financial tracking.
Scoot Administration
- Manage the Scoot Admin mailbox, ensuring timely responses, clear communication, and escalation when required.
- Maintain accurate, organised, and auditable records of the Scoot onboarding system.
Onboarding Management
- Maintain the onboarding system, ensuring all records are accurate, up to date, and routinely quality-checked; correct data inconsistencies and update retailer profiles as required.
- Maintain and update the Scoot Enquiries Tracker, ensuring all retailer enquiries are accurately logged, monitored, and progressed promptly.
- Review onboarding submissions from retailers, verifying accuracy, completeness, and legal compliance (including VAT checks and supporting documents).
- Collate all Just Eat onboarding forms and submit them to Just Eat on a weekly basis.
- Ensure Just Eat retailer contracts are issued within 10 working days, proactively following up on any delays or outstanding contracts.
- Coordinate the ordering and dispatch of POS materials and initial launch kits (e.g., thermal bags) to support retailer readiness.
Support
- Respond to and resolve RDM (Regional Development Manager) and BDM (Business Development Manager) queries, providing timely information, updates, and support to ensure smooth onboarding and operational processes.
- Work collaboratively with field teams to investigate issues, provide status updates, and ensure alignment on retailer progress.
Experience and skills relevant for the role:
- Experience within food retail, ideally including independent retailing.
- A good understanding of the Booker fascia model.
- Strong attention to detail and a customer‑focused approach.
- A collaborative team player with excellent relationship‑building skills.
- Confident problem‑solver with a resilient and adaptable mindset.
