About the role
We are looking for a reliable and efficient Order Picker to join our team at Venus Wine and Spirit Merchants, based at our Tottenham Depot. As a key part of our logistics team, you will be responsible for accurately picking and processing orders, ensuring timely and safe delivery of our premium products. It’s a great chance to be part of a well-established company in the industry. This is a full time, temporary role from October – December. Due to the seasonal nature of this role, annual leave cannot be taken between October and the end of December. Any holiday entitlement accrued during your employment will be included in your final pay at the end of the contract.
You will be responsible for
- Pick and process orders from a given pick list
- Ensure orders are accurate
- Stack items correctly for delivery
- Operate handling equipment and ensure safety regulations are followed
- Carry out stock replenishments
- Ensure warehouse goals are met
- Maintain a high level of health and safety standards
- Shrink wrap products to pallets
- Perform other general warehouse duties as needed
You will need
- Preferably previous experience working in a warehouse
- Attention to detail
- Ability to lift heavy objects
- Experience handling of electric pump trucks
- Positive attitude
- Self-Motivated; active
- Safety conscious
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication skills; good spoken and written English
