About the role
Reporting to a Commercial Finance Manager, you will be responsible in supporting the Commercial Finance team in proactivily managing income and driving growth in a category area. This role involves working closely with the Category Managers and Finance teams to ensure good understanding of both front and back income, reviewing all commercial income areas of the business.
You will be responsible for
- Ensuring full understanding of margin performance, promotional and margin investments.
- Accuracy of all Commercial Income entries through management reporting.
- Dealing with supplier queries in respect invoicing, ensuring payment cycles and cash flow opportunities are achieved.
- Providing support to the Commercial Finance Manager in producing periodic performance updates to the Product teams.
- Undertaking variance analysis on key initiatives and income streams.
- I am responsible for providing the Category teams with status updates on terms agreements.
- Supporting the Commercial Analysts in Margin reviews, Terms evaluations , giving recommendations to Category Managers to grow cash profit.
- Support Project based work where required.
- Fully support and assist the wider finance team in ensure control on processes.
