Shift Hours: 45 hrs per week (Start Times: 3am - 9am, 5 days per week including Saturday working)
Salary: £17.43 plus a number of additional shift premiums
We have a fantastic opportunity to join our Distribution Centre in Haydock as a HGV driver. This NEW opportunity will involve both single drop deliveries AND Multi Drop deliveries, using both Class 1 and Class 2 vehicles. Cage work will be involved in this role.
Responsibilities include:
- The safe delivery of stock to our 198 cash and carry stores PLUS our retail partner stores.
- Ensuring all paperwork is completed after delivery.
- Maintaining your vehicle in good condition at the start and finish of your shift.
- Working autonomously as well as part of the wider transport team.
Requirements:
- You must hold a valid C+E Licence.
- Experienced driving both Class 1 and Class 2 vehicles, with Multi Drop experience preferred.
- All applicants must be CPC qualified to be considered for this role.
- Applicants will not be considered if they have more than 6 points on their licence, 'Careless Driving', prosecution for mobile phone use or drink driving, or have failed to comply with 'Construction of Use'.
