The predicted salary is between 30000 - 42000 Β£ per year.
Exciting opportunities have arisen at RDC2 Haydock for Class 1 Drivers to work either:
- 45 hours over 5 days (any 5 from 7 days)
- Part-time hours available if preferred
- Flexible start times, to be agreed at interview stage
- Weekend working will form part of shift pattern (Weekend Premium applied)
You will be responsible for:
- Delivering caged goods on time directly to customers within the site area & network
- Tipping and loading vehicles at customer locations through manual handling
- Collection of backloads from third-party suppliers when required
- Multi-drop deliveries
- Driving & operating Class 2 vehicles when required
- Effective verbal and written communication with site and external customers
- Knowledge of Drivers Hours and WTD, ensuring legality at all times
- Keeping our fleet clean & tidy, damage-free and reporting all vehicle defects
You will need:
- LGV 1 Licence
- Experience of digital tachograph
- Geographical knowledge
- Operation of tail lifts (desired but training can be given)
- Operation of refrigerated units (desired but training can be given)
- Driver CPC qualification
- Yearly ongoing DCPC training is provided
- Newly qualified drivers will be considered
