We are currently recruiting for Warehouse Operatives to join us in our Magor site. Working in our distribution centres means fast-paced environments, excellent attention to detail with the ability to think quickly and work as part of a team to ensure orders are picked accurately and on time with seamless delivery to our customers. This role is working any 5 days from 7, mixed shifts.
Start time options: 7:00 - 15:00, 8:00 - 16:00, 10:00 - 18:00
Prior to employment, you must successfully complete a drug and alcohol test.
- Picking and packing customers' orders, using a hand-held terminal to understand pick expectations.
- Receiving, storing and stacking appropriately.
- Working with the best integrity to fulfil all stock requirements and needs.
- Maintaining a clean and safe environment with health, safety, and legal always top of mind.
- Opportunity to be trained on LLOP's and FLT's in certain areas of the DC's.
- Our distribution centres typically have ambient, chilled and freezer sections; preferences will be discussed within the process in more detail.
As a warehouse operative, being flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced environment is essential. You should be hardworking, able to work to set deadlines, and have a professional, positive, organised, and enthusiastic approach. While proven experience in a warehouse environment would be preferred, it is not essential. You should be able to work as part of a team and on your own initiative.
