About the role
We have an exciting opportunity for a talented Recruitment Team Leader to manage a team of seven Recruitment Coordinators supporting our Cash & Carry business.
In this role, you'll lead a team responsible for delivering a high-quality recruitment service across our Branch and Distribution Centre network.
You'll play a key part in driving recruitment, supporting hiring managers, developing your team, and ensuring an excellent experience for both candidates and hiring managers.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a results-driven team leader who is passionate about recruitment, enjoys leading people, improving processes and working in a fast-paced environment.
Based at our Head Office in Wellingborough (Equity House), this role is working Monday to Friday.
You'll be managing a team that operates between 8.00am and 5.30pm therefore a need to be flexible on start and finish times will be necessary.
Ideally, we are looking to offer rotational hours of 8.00am-4.30pm/9.00am-5.30pm.
- You will be responsible for
- Leading the day-to-day operation of the Recruitment Hub, ensuring an efficient and customer-focused service.
- Driving recruitment activity to meet hiring needs across the business.
- Leading daily team meetings to manage priorities, allocate workload and support team performance.
- Coaching, mentoring and developing team members to achieve their full potential.
- Creating an inclusive, engaging and high-performing team culture.
- Providing expert recruitment advice and guidance to hiring managers and People teams throughout the recruitment lifecycle.
- Planning for peak recruitment periods and ensuring the team is prepared to meet business demand.
- Producing recruitment reports and analysing data.
- Championing recruitment best practice, policies and procedures.
- Identifying opportunities to improve processes and enhance the recruitment experience.
- Supporting volume recruitment activity when required.
- You will need
- Previous recruitment experience within an in-house recruitment team or recruitment agency.
- Experience leading, motivating and developing a team.
- Experience managing recruitment performance, reporting and KPIs.
- Knowledge of recruitment processes, compliance and employment legislation.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Excellent coaching and mentoring skills.
- Experience using an Applicant Tracking System (ATS), ideally Tribepad.
- Knowledge of the wholesale or retail sector would be advantageous.
