Booker is the UK's leading food & drink wholesaler. In this role you will work seamlessly with the morning, twilight and night delivery managers to support the area manager and ensure that the service from your delivery hub is best in class.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the department is Health, Safe and Legal at all times, maximising efficiency, availability and delivering great service to customers.
  • Manage all replenishment activity accurately, including space checks, direct deliveries and timely booking‑in.
  • Investigate all ISOS (In Stock Off Sale) items thoroughly.
  • Train colleagues in milk and bread ordering to meet all orders.
  • Oversee Stock Control functions to ensure accurate completion.
  • Investigate and resolve credit issues in a timely manner.
  • Live customer‑service standards in the branch and lead the Customer Service team to serve all customers quickly, professionally, accurately and without delay.
  • Manage Click & Collect operations effectively.
  • Ensure butchery tasks comply with Booker BE THE BEST AT policies and that customer orders are accurate and ready on time.
  • Complete and record diary tasks as required.
  • Conduct effective security checks.
  • Support new colleagues during induction.
  • Maintain a clean, tidy and safe working environment for all colleagues.
  • Lead by example, role‑model the Booker Code of Business Conduct and Win Together behaviours.
  • Build and maintain good internal and external working relationships.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures and mandatory training.
  • Support a Health, Safe and Legal culture and champion Diversity and Inclusion, ensuring everyone is welcome.
