Responsibilities
- Open or close the building at the beginning or end of shift
- Manage and coordinate warehouse staff during assigned shifts
- Ensure efficient picking, stacking, lines and loading of products
- Monitor daily operations to meet productivity and performance targets
- Enforce health, safe and legal regulations and company policies
- Manage shift schedules, attendance, and staff performance
- Train, coach, and develop team members
- Resolve operational issues and escalating where necessary
- Coordinate with other departments such as Telesales, Sale Accounts, and Buying Team
- Ensure proper use and maintenance of warehouse equipment
- Route planning and load plans considering vehicles off road
- Maintain order accuracy and availability fulfilment %
- Achieve pick rate performance per shift
- Ensure on‑time delivery
- Maintain health & safety compliance
- Manage staff turnover and engagement
- Ensure training compliance
- Shift‑based schedule (Morning, late, or Saturday shifts when required)
Qualifications
- Proven experience in warehouse operations or logistics (typically 2+ years)
- Previous supervisory or team leadership experience
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Good understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS)
- Excellent problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations
- Ability to work flexible shifts (including early/late & Saturdays if required)
