The predicted salary is between 30000 - 40000 € per year.

You will support the Branch Manager to ensure that the Service from your Hub is best in class. You will manage a department which is Health, Safe and Legal at all times, maximising efficiency, availability and delivering great service to our customer.

Responsibilities

  • Ensuring that all Butchery activity is managed in line with Be the Best At.
  • Customer orders being prepared accurately, to a high standard and in a timely manner.
  • PRIDE being lived and that the Butchery team aim to assist all customers quickly, professionally.
  • Ensuring that diary tasks are completed and recorded as necessary.
  • Completing the Meat Pick report as required.
  • Supporting new colleagues during their induction.
  • Ensuring that all colleagues maintain a clean, tidy and safe environment in which to work.
  • Leading by example, role‑modeling the Booker Code of Business Conduct and Win Together Behaviours.
  • Building and maintaining good working relationships internally and externally.
  • Compliance with company policies, procedures and mandatory training.
  • Supporting a Health, Safe and Legal culture.
  • Championing Diversity and Inclusion to ensure Everyone Is Welcome at Booker.

This role gives you the flexibility to run a butchery business without the financial risk. We want someone who has good product knowledge of all meat proteins, who is self‑motivated with a desire to succeed and a team‑management track record.
